Micah comes to help!

October 16-Oct 25:

Adam's brother, Micah who lives in North Carolina, came to Indiana to help us work on the house for a little over a week. Adam took an entire week off of work to work on the house. Our farm house is getting very cold on certain days. We don't have a way to heat our house (besides a little space heater in the bedroom. So, we really want to get into the new house sooner than later. Our hopes were that we would get enough done to be able to move in. We came very close. Hopefully next weekend, (Halloween weekend), we will be able to move it.

I don't even know where to start. We got so much done. Most days, we worked about 12-13 hours a day. There was one day that Adam and Micah worked from 8am-4am. I am amazed by these 2 guys. There were 2 full days when I did not work, and helped them work on the house for a good 12 hours or so. I was exhausted!!!!!!! I'm not used to that much physical work. Taking care of sick babies for 12 hours is a lot easier (for me) that working on the house! Haha!

The first morning that Micah was here. This was the temp in the house.

So, this is where he ended up sleeping. We put his mattress on

the boxes of oak floor for the upstairs. :) It was nice and toasty in the dome!
