This was the last of the bedroom floors to be completed! At this time last year, we didn't know how much it would eventually be used!!

I am so sorry. I have turned into the worst blogger of all time! I am really going to try to do better. The last year has been a bit crazy! So, I have a little bit of free time today, so I will try to get caught up!!

We are still alive

In case any of you have wondered, we are still alive. I have not uploaded the blog in forever. I'm sorry. We have made some progress on the house---not as much as we would have liked, but we have had many other things on our plate. My plans are to get pictures up from the last 8 months over the next week or so.

May 2010:

Our neighbor came over one Saturday morning and in just 5 hours, the 2 of them finished a whole room. They were kicking butt!

Note: Curved walls make it hard to install floors.

Now that the painting is done upstairs, the next step is to install the hardwood floors! We bought this hardwood floors last summer at an auction.

This is a closet in one of the bedrooms!

First, you put down roofing tar paper.

This is the super cool flooring nailer that we are borrowing from a friend.

Upstairs Guest Bathroom

May 2010:

While Kristi was painting, Adam was working on our first guest bathroom! We got the beautiful tile, vanity, and medicine cabinet all from Lowes! I think it turned out beautiful!

Tile is done. Just have to clean and seal it!
